Zachary is a London-based Consultant to our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. He is an experienced Commercial Chancery barrister called to the bar in England and Wales (2015) with particular experience in Commercial Law, Civil Fraud, Insolvency & Restructuring, Company Law and Shareholders Disputes. He regularly appears in the High Court in London, often acting in disputes in the Insolvency & Companies List and Business List of the Chancery Division and the Queen’s Bench Division. Zachary has also appeared in the Court of Appeal and has experience drafting in the Supreme Court.
Zachary has particular experience in cross-border litigation and has been instructed both as sole counsel and as part of an international legal team in disputes with a connection to the law of the UAE, Luxembourg, Morocco, France, Italy, Spain and the CIS. Such matters include cross-border fraud and restitution claims estimated at c.$250million, a CIS bankruptcy which encompassed debts of the equivalent of c.£40 million, and obtaining a worldwide freezing order covering £5.44m of assets across Luxembourg, among other places.
He is ranked Band 3 for Banking and Finance, and Band 4 for Civil Fraud in the 2025 edition of the Legal 500.
Zachary often writes articles on his areas of practice and is a contributor to the Journal of International Banking & Financial Law.
He is regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
