TRAINING PROGRAMME
At Simcocks we run a long established training programme, which has launched the careers of a great many local advocates over the years. Trainee advocates get experience in every area of law, encouraged to work within each department before choosing an area of specialism.
INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
These placements are designed for penultimate and final-year undergraduates, graduates and post graduates (who have studied Law). Unfortunately, we are unable to offer placements to applicants outside this criteria, and we currently have all our slots booked.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Simcocks runs an initiative called Partnership with Schools, designed to encourage local A level and International Baccalaureate students to consider a career in law. This essay competition has proved very popular since its launch in 2018. The successful candidate is offered a week’s unpaid work experience within the firm during the Easter holidays.
