We are a Business Partner of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.

Simcocks has pledged to support UNESCO Biosphere in its strategy of ‘Working Together for a Sustainable Future’ and commit to conduct our business in such a way that will help preserve our wonderful island’s unique environment.

We are pleased to be a Corporate Supporter of the Manx Wildlife Trust, a charity which works hard to protect our Island’s wildlife and help people feel more connected to nature.

We enjoy supporting local charities and over the years have made significant contributions to a variety of organisations. Employees work together to raise money through a variety of ways including organising sponsored walks, cake baking, and holding dress-down days.

We hosted a wine and cheese tasting night at the Food Cellar in Douglas, in aid of Forget Me Not, the local dementia charity.

We sponsored a Dining in the Dark evening for Sight Matters this year as we did in 2025 and 2024. This year’s event raised £3,347.

In previous years Simcocks Advocates has supported:

We held an Easter raffle, to which several local companies kindly donated prizes. The funds raised went to The Samaritans.

Our tombola raised £2,395 and Hadrian’s Wall Hike raised £3,075 for the Isle of Man Hyperbaric Chamber during 2025.

We had a vegan bake sale for World Vegan Day and donated the funds raised to the Manx Wild Bird Aid.

We have enjoyed raising money for the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group over the last couple of years, holding bake sales and raffles on Go Pink Day.

Our Relay for Life team raised over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK from kind sponsorship by friends and colleagues in 2023.

Supporting the community

Sports coaches, youth mentors, active members of professional organisations and unpaid fundraisers all work for Simcocks. The organisations they work with may be diverse and varied but our staff share one thing in common – a commitment to the community in which they live and work.

We currently sponsor or contribute to the following organisations:

Work Experience

Scores of schoolchildren and undergraduates have gained an invaluable insight into life inside a law practice after taking part in Simcocks’ extensive work experience programme. Youngsters aged 15 and older, studying at schools across the Isle of Man and at colleges and universities in the UK, have benefited from the company’s work experience programme. Spending a week at our Isle of Man law firm, students have the opportunity to work alongside lawyers and support staff in different departments. If you are a teacher wanting further information about our work experience programme contact Simcocks’ HR Consultant Nicola Quayle.
