Simcocks has entered a team into the Isle of Man Relay for Life, raising money for Cancer Research UK.  Phil, Lisa, Julia, Sarah, Eleanor and Taryn will walk in relay for 24 hours at the National Sports Centre starting at 12pm on 26 August.

Our goal is £500 to go towards battling cancer in the Isle of Man and North West. We would so appreciate it if you could donate towards our fundraising goal. You can donate easily by visiting our page here: http://relay.cancerresearchuk.org/goto/simcocksstriders

About Relay For Life

Relay For Life is a community festival celebrating the power of fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams fundraise for life-saving cancer research then unite at a weekend-long festival to honour everyone who has been affected by cancer.

The festival is focused around a 24-hour relay where team members take it in turns to walk around a track to show that together we will beat cancer. There will be music and activities throughout the 24 hour event and a Candle of Hope ceremony to honour every life touched by cancer. Dedicating candles to someone no longer with us, a friend or family member living with cancer, a loved one who has survived, or hope for the future – a world where all cancers are cured.

Entry is free, simply join your local Relay by starting a team, joining a team or by taking part as a survivor.

1 in 2 people born in the UK after 1960 will get cancer in their lifetime. Our research saves lives. We are absolutely determined to continue our vital research to create better treatments for tomorrow, but we need your help today. Your fundraising will make a difference, and together we will beat cancer.
