19 June 2017
Four Simcocks employees took part in the Parish Walk on Saturday 17 June 2017 to raise money for Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
The Parish Walk is a grueling 85 mile walk around the Isle of Man, passing through each Parish. It’s a tough task for any ordinary day but this year, the challenge was made even greater as the walkers had temperatures of up to 17 degrees to contend with.
All four of the team members were spurred on to raise as much money as possible for RNLI – our chosen charity of the year.
Legal Clark Lynne Sayle walked 31.5 miles to Peel.
Advocate Sarah Wolter completed 42 miles and retired in Ballaugh.
Advocate Taryn Pyle made it to Jurby, completing 45 miles.
And Director Amy Coole managed to complete the full 85 miles – her first finish!
The ladies managed to raise £1,000 for RNLI which will be added to the total of other fundraising activity throughout the year. Well done team Simcocks!
