Alex Spencer is a Director of Simcocks and specialises in corporate and commercial law. His clients are both domestic and international and include private companies, PLCs, large blue chip institutions and corporate service providers. He has considerable experience in dealing with matters including corporate acquisitions and disposals, rights issues, AIM listings, shareholders’ agreements, general commercial agreements, security documentation, company migrations and non-contentious liquidation and insolvency matters.
Reyna Soni is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial department. She has senior level experience as head of the Legal Department of an Isle of Man corporate and trust service provider and has over eleven years’ experience in the Island’s financial sector overall. Reyna has a strong background in compliance and she deals with regulatory matters in relation to Juristrust Limited, which provides trustee and trust administration services, principally for will trusts but also discretionary and purpose trusts.
Kevin O’Loughlin has considerable experience in corporate and private client fields and practices in company law, trust law, funds, regulation and pension law. He has advised companies in relation to Isle of Man aspects of corporate activity such as mergers and takeovers and listings, including in relation to associated pensions implications. He regularly advises professional trustees in relation to all aspects of trust administration.
Andrew Marshall is a consultant to our Litigation department. He has gained experience with a broad range of commercial and civil litigation, specialising in complex trust and property disputes, and matters relating to frauds and breaches of fiduciary duties in respect of directors and trustees. He has significant court experience, having represented clients in the High Court, Appeal Court, Privy Council and at all levels in the criminal courts. Andrew has also represented clients in the Employment Tribunal, Advocates Disciplinary Tribunal and Licensing Court.
