Robert Lindley boosts Simcocks team
Simcocks Advocates has strengthened its corporate, commercial and dispute resolution departments with the appointment of Advocate Robert Lindley.
Robert will have particular responsibility for commercial property, planning appeals and property litigation. He is also able to advise on aspects of environmental law and risk management, both contentious and non-contentious.
As well as corporate and commercial experience Robert, 33, having qualified as a Manx Advocate with Simcocks, spent several years working for Walker Morris, a leading law firm in Leeds, where he specialised in commercial dispute resolution. Robert has advised a wide range of clients with particular emphasis on property developers and those involved in waste and environmental management.
Robert, who has recently completed a Masters degree in Ecology and Environmental Science, said: “Having grown up on the island and qualified as an Advocate with Simcocks, I am thrilled to have re-joined the company and I look forward to contributing to its continued success on the Island.”
Simcocks chief executive, Phil Games said: “We are delighted to welcome Robert back to the Simcocks team, having gained exceptional experience in England. Robert skills add strength to our team and his expertise is particularly welcome as both our commercial and dispute resolution departments continue to grow.”
Robert, who lives in Peel, is a keen mountain biker, sailor and snowboarder.
