Michael joins Simcocks
English Barrister Michael Craine has joined Douglas-based Simcocks Advocates as a senior member of staff.
Formerly in Chambers in Preston and Liverpool he has practised in Criminal and Civil Law on the Northern Circuit. He has considerable experience with crown court, immigration, company, compliance and corporate work and is an Accredited Commercial Mediator with the ADR Group. He has a Masters in IT and Telecoms Law.
Simcocks chief executive, Phil Games said “We have a great deal of experience and expertise in our litigation department and it was ranked in the top tier of the 2008 edition of the Legal 500. Staff are very active in complex litigation and Michael will seamlessly fit in to such a hard-hitting department. As a barrister he is skilled in the preparation and presentation of complex legal arguments before a variety of tribunals.”
Manx born Michael said: “I am looking forward to working with such a strong team. There are many highly qualified and experienced staff yet Simcocks retains a fresh and forward looking approach.”
Michael lives in Douglas and has a daughter.
