In Brief:
Admitted 2010 Isle of Man; 1997 Russia. Before joining Simcocks Marina practiced law in Russia for seven years, mostly with international law firms, including Gide Loyrette Nouel and Freshfields. She also worked closely with a leading international arbitrator at Mannheimer Swartling on cases heard in the London Court of International Arbitration and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and provided legal services to the space industry including Boeing and the Russian Space and Rocket Corporation ‘Energia’ at the outset of their partnership in the Sea Launch project. Marina has taken the Executive Space Course at the International Space University in Strasbourg and is able to advise satellite operators and launch companies on regulatory and authorisation procedures and tax-efficient Isle of Man structures. Marina works in English and Russian and written French and German on matters of corporate and commercial law, IP, insurance, reinsurance and Funds.

Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) – Diploma in Law (Specialist in International Commercial Law), distinction; London School of Economics and Political Science – Master in Laws; The College of Law of England and Wales, London – Graduate Diploma in Law & Legal Practice Course.
